Our Mission Statement
We seek to help adults and children with disabilities, along with their families, by offering therapies and opportunities to encourage healing, offering a community of purpose, and sharing God's love to provide an atmosphere of healing and joy.
Detailed Mission Vision:
Our vision is to create a non-profit farm that aims to use equine ministry and equine therapy along with several other modalities, opportunities, and services to support those impacted by special needs and disabilities.
As part of a Day Center, we envision a place where various arts and crafts, horse therapy, petting zoo, organic gardening, a juice bar and organic snack shop, a store, and various other venues will aim to serve and support the needs of the community. Adults with special needs can volunteer or work and spend their time at Joyful Farms participating in whatever activities that best serve their needs.
We would pour into them and their families hoping to show the Love of God. As a Christian based ministry, we want them to know that they are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139) and that God has a plan and a purpose for their lives (Ephesians 2:10). The need for adult Day Centers and therapeutic animal experiences is tremendous. Joyful Farms seeks to offer experiences for special needs adults that provide a rewarding sense of dignity and acknowledge the value of each individual with a message of God’s Love.
So often the families of those disabled are financially strained because of the cost of the various therapies, medications, and aids to support them. Because of this strain, our goal is that all of the services will always be free to everyone who wants to participate in the services at Joyful Farms! We also want to encourage and support the families with the hope that this journey does not end here, and that these precious ones also have eternal hope of full restoration and glory we have yet to see. (Romans 8:15-17)
